Terms of Use

Use of this web site, and information distributed in conjunction with this website, including without limitation the Solix Biosystems E-Newsletter Service, is offered to you on your acceptance of these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and other notices posted on this web site. Your use of this web site or of any content presented in any and all areas of the web site indicates your acknowledgment and agreement to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and other notices posted on this web site. If you do not agree to be bound by and comply with all of the foregoing, you may not access or use our information, services, or web site.

Solix Biosystems shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, add or remove any terms or conditions of these Terms of Use without notice or liability to you. Any changes to these Terms of Use shall be effective immediately following the posting of such changes on this web site.

You agree to review these Terms of Use from time to time and agree that any subsequent use by you of this web site following changes to these Terms of Use shall constitute your acceptance of all such changes.

Conditions of Use

Solix products are developed, designed and sold exclusively for research purposes and in vitro use only. Products were not tested for use in diagnostics or for drug development, nor are they suitable for administration to humans or animals. Please refer to the various MSDS, which are available upon request.

Certain applications of Solix products are covered by patents issued to parties other than Solix Biosystems and applicable in certain countries. Because purchase of these products do not include a license to perform any of these patented applications, users of these products may be required to obtain a patent license depending upon the particular application and country in which the product is used.

Delivery:

Upon receipt of your order, the product normally will be shipped within 24 hours. Orders shipped on dry ice will be sent via air express service. Shipping days are Monday through Thursday to most of the United States. Friday shipments (for Saturday delivery) are possible via priority status, but the recipient will need to make arrangements for a pickup on Saturday. We reserve the right to make deliveries in installments, all such installments to be separately invoiced and paid for when due per invoice.

For shipping schedules outside of the United States, please check with your local distributor. Unless otherwise specified, products are shipped F.O.B. origin, freight prepaid and added to your invoice.

Terms:

Net 30 days after shipment in U.S. dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Credit Card Orders:

We offer credit card purchases on any of our products in the United States, allowing you to receive products quickly and easily. We gladly take Visa®, MasterCard®, and American Express® through phone orders and online.

Merchandise Return Policy:

We cannot accept material/product for credit without prior written consent. Returns will only be accepted by Solix in instances of errors attributable to Solix Biosystems Inc. or any of its subsidiaries, or where the goods are not satisfactory for their intended use, when used as directed. Solix will not accept merchandise that has become outdated, were ordered in error, or can no longer be used due to changes in methodology or procedures. Please direct any questions on returning shipments to the Customer Support Department.

Taxes and Other Charges:

Any use tax, sales tax, excise tax, duty, inspection or testing fee, or any other tax, fee or charge imposed by any governmental authority, on or measured by the transaction between us shall be paid by you in addition to the prices quoted or invoiced. If we are required to pay any such tax, fee or charge, you shall reimburse us therefor or provide us at the time the order is submitted an exemption certificate or other document acceptable to the authority imposing the tax, fee or charge.

Limited Product Warranty:

Any product that does not meet the performance standards stated in the product specification sheet will be replaced at no charge. This warranty limits our liability to the replacement of the product. No other warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided by Solix Biosystems. Solix Biosystems shall have no liability for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use, the results of use or the inability to use any product.
